Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Agro Yasa Lestari PT Tbk (JK:AYLS), which rose 34.29% or 36.00 points to trade at 141.00 at the close. Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk PT (JK:JAST) added 33.33% or 19.00 points to end at 76.00 and Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) was up 25.00% or 1.00 points to 5.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pool Advista Indonesia Tbk (JK:POOL), which lost 74.00% or 37.00 points to trade at 13.00 in late trade. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) declined 25.00% or 1.00 points to end at 3.00 and Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) shed 18.13% or 58.00 points to 262.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.09% or 0.06 to $70.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.24% or 0.90 to hit $73.22 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $2,633.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was unchanged 0.00% to 16,190.00, while AUD/IDR fell 10.47% to 9,045.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
