Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which rose 33.33% or 1.00 points to trade at 4.00 at the close. Jakarta Int Hotels & Dev (JK:JIHD) added 25.00% or 98.00 points to end at 490.00 and Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk PT (JK:LPPS) was up 22.09% or 19.00 points to 105.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS), which lost 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 in late trade. Diamond Citra Propertindo PT (JK:DADA) declined 12.50% or 1.00 points to end at 7.00 and Dyandra Media International (JK:DYAN) shed 10.83% or 13.00 points to 107.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 333 to 248 and 248 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.68% or 0.46 to $67.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.63% or 0.45 to hit $71.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 8.80 to trade at $2,764.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.32% to 15,779.15, while AUD/IDR rose 0.15% to 10,370.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 104.15.
