Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Trade, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT), which rose 24.07% or 130.00 points to trade at 670.00 at the close. Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) added 21.08% or 235 points to end at 1350 and Fortune Indonesia Tbk (JK:FORU) was up 18.13% or 29 points to 189 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which lost 24.86% or 43 points to trade at 130 in late trade. Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (JK:EMTK) declined 15.45% or 1700 points to end at 9300 and Golden Energy Mines Tbk (JK:GEMS) shed 14.55% or 400 points to 2350.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 188 to 155 and 116 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.60% or 0.28 to $46.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.70% or 0.36 to hit $51.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.98 to trade at $1315.92 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.13% to 13342.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.36% to 10693.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 92.42.
