Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Indonesian Paradise Property (JK:INPP), which rose 914.29% or 960.00 points to trade at 1,065.00 at the close. Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (JK:BBNI) fell 0.44% or 25.00 points to end at 5,675.00 and Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 (JK:SDRA) was up 300.00% or 345.00 points to 460.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:TAXI), which lost 99.11% or 555.00 points to trade at 5.00 in late trade. Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk (JK:TOTO) declined 98.45% or 14,078.00 points to end at 222.00 and Millennium Pharmacon International (JK:SDPC) shed 97.32% or 4,866.00 points to 134.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 423 to 256 and 160 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.11% or 1.39 to $67.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.92% or 1.33 to hit $70.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 9.00 to trade at $2,552.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.39% to 15,414.30, while AUD/IDR fell 0.24% to 10,267.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 101.40.
