Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Mining, Agriculture and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (JK:DOID), which rose 30.56% or 22 points to trade at 94 at the close. Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (JK:TGKA) added 22.58% or 700 points to end at 3800 and Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) was up 22.50% or 135 points to 735 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Buana Finance Tbk (JK:BBLD), which lost 25.00% or 350 points to trade at 1050 in late trade. Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (JK:MIDI) declined 10.00% or 80 points to end at 720 and Indonesian Paradise Property (JK:INPP) shed 8.33% or 20.00 points to 220.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 172 to 159 and 57 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.46% or 1.49 to $61.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.20% or 1.49 to hit $69.00 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.30 to trade at $1189.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.12% to 13040.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.06% to 10314.50.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 94.96.
