Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Infrastructure and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Asuransi Ramayana Tbk (JK:ASRM), which rose 24.90% or 610 points to trade at 3060 at the close. Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (JK:SMMA) added 19.61% or 1000 points to end at 6100 and PP Properti Tbk PT (JK:PPRO) was up 17.02% or 48 points to 330 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Victoria Investama Tbk (JK:VICO), which lost 9.46% or 14 points to trade at 134 in late trade. Hd Capital Tbk (JK:HADE) declined 9.21% or 7.00 points to end at 69.00 and Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR) shed 9.09% or 100 points to 1000.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 165 to 134 and 87 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.82% or 0.38 to $46.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.67% or 0.32 to hit $47.92 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.43% or 5.45 to trade at $1270.05 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.14% to 13280.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.68% to 9756.90.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 93.98.
