Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Mining sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 1.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sona Topas Tourism Industry (JK:SONA), which rose 24.89% or 560 points to trade at 2810 at the close. Holcim Indonesia Tbk (JK:SMCB) added 24.84% or 195 points to end at 980 and Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI) was unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to 424 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which lost 24.05% or 38 points to trade at 120 in late trade. Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) declined 22.78% or 36 points to end at 122 and Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) shed 17.95% or 35 points to 160.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 264 to 130 and 116 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $65.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.35% or 0.25 to hit $72.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 10.60 to trade at $1194.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.15% to 14600.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.10% to 10656.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 96.22.
