Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 1.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Pacific Strategic Financial (JK:APIC), which rose 395.24% or 830.00 points to trade at 1,040.00 at the close. Betonjaya Manunggal Tbk (JK:BTON) added 245.00% or 294.00 points to end at 414.00 and Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk PT (JK:AMAG) was up 231.43% or 243.00 points to 348.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk PT (JK:LPPS), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 55.00 in late trade. Indo Acidatama Tbk (JK:SRSN) declined 98.57% or 3,450.00 points to end at 50.00 and Omni Inovasi Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:TELE) shed 98.39% or 305.00 points to 5.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 374 to 291 and 162 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.38% or 0.28 to $73.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.18% or 0.14 to hit $76.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 5.95 to trade at $2,450.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.25% to 16,161.00, while AUD/IDR fell 0.14% to 10,509.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 102.73.
