Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 1.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Agro Yasa Lestari PT Tbk (JK:AYLS), which rose 34.62% or 27.00 points to trade at 105.00 at the close. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) added 33.33% or 1.00 points to end at 4.00 and Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) was up 31.66% or 63.00 points to 262.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sekar Bumi Tbk (JK:SKBM), which lost 24.38% or 195.00 points to trade at 605.00 in late trade. Rig Tenders Tbk (JK:RIGS) declined 17.16% or 175.00 points to end at 845.00 and Dosni Roha Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ZBRA) shed 14.06% or 9.00 points to 55.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 322 to 269 and 233 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.19% or 0.13 to $69.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $72.67 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.41 to trade at $2,643.69 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 16,194.20, while AUD/IDR rose 0.19% to 10,133.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 107.71.
