Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Mining, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.98%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI), which rose 34.69% or 34 points to trade at 132 at the close. Ictsi Jasa Prima Tbk (JK:KARW) added 34.68% or 43 points to end at 167 and Prima Cakrawala Abadi PT (JK:PCAR) was up 25.00% or 123 points to 615 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Marga Abhinaya Abadi Tbk PT (JK:MABA), which lost 24.50% or 185 points to trade at 570 in late trade. Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD) declined 24.36% or 134 points to end at 416 and Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk PT (JK:PSSI) shed 14.53% or 34 points to 200.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 216 to 122 and 124 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.92% or 0.57 to $61.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.84% or 0.57 to hit $67.50 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.40 to trade at $1318.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.04% to 13417.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.07% to 10546.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 91.77.
