Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.91%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (JK:SMMA), which rose 711.11% or 12,800.00 points to trade at 14,600.00 at the close. Siantar Top Tbk (JK:STTP) added 490.91% or 10,800.00 points to end at 13,000.00 and Mark Dynamics Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:MARK) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 940.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk PT (JK:LPPS), which lost 99.33% or 8,095.00 points to trade at 55.00 in late trade. Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM) declined 98.18% or 4,909.00 points to end at 91.00 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) shed 97.72% or 386.00 points to 9.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 397 to 263 and 169 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.49% or 0.36 to $73.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.43% or 0.33 to hit $76.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $2,431.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.81% to 16,024.45, while AUD/IDR fell 0.23% to 10,507.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 102.90.
