Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Mining, Financials and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH), which rose 24.60% or 155 points to trade at 785 at the close. Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) added 24.40% or 102 points to end at 520 and Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) was up 13.07% or 46 points to 398 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT), which lost 25.00% or 225.00 points to trade at 675.00 in late trade. Perdana Bangun Pusaka Tbk PT (JK:KONI) declined 25.00% or 180 points to end at 540 and Alfa Energi Investama Tbk PT (JK:FIRE) shed 15.34% or 260 points to 1435.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 182 to 162 and 120 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.31% or 0.71 to $55.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.21% or 0.74 to hit $61.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 10.01 to trade at $1280.51 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.13% to 13580.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.28% to 10420.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 94.53.
