Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Agriculture and Consumer Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which rose 31.84% or 57 points to trade at 236 at the close. Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS) added 25.00% or 70 points to end at 350 and Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) was up 24.47% or 116 points to 590 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS), which lost 14.73% or 38.00 points to trade at 220.00 in late trade. Megapower Makmur TBK PT (JK:MPOW) declined 11.29% or 42 points to end at 330 and Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU) shed 9.64% or 32 points to 300.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 180 to 148 and 114 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.40% or 0.66 to $47.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.46% or 0.24 to hit $52.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.99 to trade at $1337.39 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.07% to 13330.2, while AUD/IDR rose 0.52% to 10668.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 92.58.
