Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Agriculture, Mining and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Hanson International Tbk (JK:MYRX), which rose 36.59% or 45 points to trade at 168 at the close. Rimo International Lestari Tbk PT (JK:RIMO) added 34.51% or 49.000 points to end at 191.000 and Mnc Investama Tbk (JK:BHIT) was up 26.17% or 28 points to 135 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD), which lost 20.77% or 108 points to trade at 412 in late trade. Indo Straits Tbk (JK:PTIS) declined 20.33% or 100 points to end at 392 and Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN) shed 15.15% or 70 points to 392.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 264 to 116 and 105 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.69% or 1.00 to $60.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.47% or 0.92 to hit $63.71 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.50 to trade at $1323.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.25% to 13647.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.01% to 10639.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 90.11.
