Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Mining and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Smartfren Telecom Tbk (JK:FREN), which rose 18.07% or 15 points to trade at 98 at the close. Indorama Synthetics Tbk (JK:INDR) added 17.13% or 550 points to end at 3760 and Jaya Trishindo Tbk PT (JK:HELI) was up 12.90% or 16 points to 140 in late trade.
Biggest losers included PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (JK:CSIS), which lost 24.76% or 520 points to trade at 1580 in late trade. Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) declined 11.34% or 44.00 points to end at 344.00 and Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) shed 11.21% or 12 points to 95.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 212 to 151 and 122 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $71.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.38% or 0.30 to hit $78.13 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1289.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.21% to 14093.3, while AUD/IDR rose 1.04% to 10610.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 93.34.
