Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the U.S. session on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for August delivery traded at USD1215.30 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.69%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1215.00 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1213.00 and resistance at USD1228.10.
US Dollar Index Futures, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.14% to trade at USD94.46.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for September delivery fell 0.96% to trade at USD15.410 a troy ounce while Copper for September delivery fell 3.30% to trade at USD2.738 a pound.
