Proactive Investors - Weak start expected in London.
The FTSE 100 is expected to open lower when trading for the week gets underway on Monday following losses in Asia.
Spread betting companies are calling London’s lead index down by around 25 points after closing up 4.62 points, 0.1%, at 7,488.20 on Friday.
In Asia, the Nikkei 225 fell 0.5%, while the Shanghai Composite was 0.3% lower in late trade, and the Hang Seng was also 0.3% lower.
Later in the week and inflation figures in the US and Europe will take centre stage while the Opec+ meeting takes place on Thursday.
Ahead of that, the main early focus in London today will be an update from online property website, Rightmove.
