At the market open in London, the FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.46%. The FTSE 250 Index and the FTSE 350 Index also declined. The FTSE 250 fell 0.06%, while the FTSE 350 was down by 0.36%.

- Diageo (LON:DGE): Fell 7.87% or 2022.5 points to 2,347.0
- Sage (LON:SGE): Declined 8.00% or 86.90 points to 999.60
- Croda International (LON:CRDA): Dropped 4.70% or 193.0 points to 3,911.0
