Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 9.00% or 3.80 points to trade at 46.00 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 2.69% or 0.57 points to end at 21.73 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was up 2.59% or 0.46 points to 18.22 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which lost 17.53% or 0.894 points to trade at 4.206 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 9.67% or 0.8750 points to end at 8.1750 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) shed 7.84% or 3.03 points to 35.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 113 to 38 and 7 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.24% or 0.14 to $58.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.31% or 0.16 to hit $52.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 7.05 to trade at $1271.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 1.07% to 1.1686, while EUR/GBP fell 0.43% to 0.8870.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.83% at 94.31.
