Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 1.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 0.81% or 0.08 points to trade at 10.00 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 0.47% or 0.09 points to end at 18.36 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was up 0.07% or 0.01 points to 14.17 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 4.08% or 0.78 points to trade at 18.35 in late trade. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 3.35% or 2.00 points to end at 57.65 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) shed 2.70% or 0.23 points to 8.35.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 115 to 46 and 28 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 2.26% or 1.64 to $71.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.26% or 1.56 to hit $67.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 17.15 to trade at $2,525.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.28% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 101.21.
