Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 1.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 0.41% or 0.28 points to trade at 67.30 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) fell 0.61% or 0.26 points to end at 42.24 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.63% or 0.17 points to 26.97 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which lost 3.21% or 0.85 points to trade at 25.60 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 3.17% or 1.46 points to end at 44.54 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) shed 3.03% or 1.01 points to 32.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 129 to 19 and 14 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was down 0.48% or 0.36 to $74.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 2.49% or 1.69 to hit $66.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1302.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.62% to 1.1553, while EUR/GBP fell 0.16% to 0.8719.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 94.74.
