Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 2.21% or 0.0830 points to trade at 3.8380 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) added 0.85% or 0.04 points to end at 5.37 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 0.51% or 0.13 points to 25.71 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which lost 2.77% or 0.83 points to trade at 29.17 in late trade. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 2.47% or 1.78 points to end at 70.18 and DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) shed 2.44% or 0.4500 points to 17.9600.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 97 to 57 and 13 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.61% or 0.41 to $66.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.37% or 0.21 to hit $56.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1222.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.26% to 1.1444, while EUR/GBP rose 0.10% to 0.8910.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 96.12.
