Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.65%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which rose 2.50% or 0.87 points to trade at 35.65 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 0.69% or 0.14 points to end at 20.44 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.47% or 0.13 points to 28.05 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which lost 3.79% or 1.47 points to trade at 37.30 in late trade. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 3.26% or 1.01 points to end at 29.99 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) shed 3.00% or 0.1660 points to 5.3740.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 53 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was down 3.33% or 2.53 to $73.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 3.00% or 2.01 to hit $64.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.12% or 27.70 to trade at $1280.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.35% to 1.1608, while EUR/GBP rose 0.22% to 0.8742.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 94.79.
