Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 2.85% or 0.180 points to trade at 6.495 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 0.60% or 0.17 points to end at 28.35 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 0.57% or 0.0500 points to 8.8200 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which lost 2.05% or 0.47 points to trade at 22.42 in late trade. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) declined 1.61% or 0.43 points to end at 26.23 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) shed 1.52% or 0.085 points to 5.495.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 38 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.70% or 0.37 to $52.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.19% or 0.09 to hit $47.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 8.13 to trade at $1338.53 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.45% to 1.1913, while EUR/GBP rose 0.57% to 0.9217.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 92.49.
