Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 7.66% or 3.80 points to trade at 53.37 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 2.09% or 0.12 points to end at 5.86 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 1.14% or 0.75 points to 66.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES), which lost 2.75% or 0.24 points to trade at 8.34 in late trade. Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) declined 2.60% or 0.56 points to end at 21.00 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) shed 1.66% or 1.45 points to 86.15.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 56 and 26 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.42% or 1.08 to $74.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.48% or 1.06 to hit $70.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.91% or 25.25 to trade at $2,734.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.13% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 104.28.
