Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM), which rose 0.89% or 0.23 points to trade at 26.13 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 0.86% or 0.12 points to end at 14.16 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 0.84% or 0.09 points to 10.77 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which lost 7.31% or 4.24 points to trade at 53.76 in late trade. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 4.16% or 2.75 points to end at 63.35 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) shed 1.79% or 0.81 points to 44.54.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 80 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was down 1.53% or 1.11 to $71.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.75% or 1.20 to hit $67.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 6.80 to trade at $2,566.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.22% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.53% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 106.52.
