Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 3.33% or 0.67 points to trade at 20.79 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 0.55% or 0.02 points to end at 3.76 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 0.52% or 0.06 points to 10.61 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which lost 2.19% or 0.21 points to trade at 9.40 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 2.09% or 0.99 points to end at 46.18 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) shed 1.65% or 0.51 points to 30.39.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.72% or 1.38 to $78.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.98% or 1.53 to hit $75.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 8.65 to trade at $2,546.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.01% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.37% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 100.66.
