Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 1.80% or 0.17 points to trade at 9.64 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) added 1.15% or 0.10 points to end at 8.65 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.91% or 0.11 points to 11.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT), which lost 1.51% or 0.39 points to trade at 25.43 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 0.97% or 0.46 points to end at 47.01 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) shed 0.74% or 0.70 points to 94.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 69 and 24 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was up 2.39% or 1.87 to $80.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.98% or 2.23 to hit $77.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.35 to trade at $2,551.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 100.76.
