Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 2.11% or 0.1080 points to trade at 5.2300 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 1.37% or 0.065 points to end at 4.801 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 1.09% or 0.80 points to 74.52 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 2.71% or 0.182 points to trade at 6.522 in late trade. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 2.55% or 0.48 points to end at 18.37 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) shed 2.08% or 0.66 points to 31.09.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 64 and 17 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was up 1.93% or 1.44 to $76.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.84% or 1.25 to hit $69.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.63% or 19.50 to trade at $1213.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.79% to 1.1631, while EUR/GBP rose 0.40% to 0.9042.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 95.00.
