Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 3.76% or 0.35 points to trade at 9.65 at the close. Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 3.04% or 0.39 points to end at 13.22 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) was up 2.65% or 1.80 points to 69.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which lost 1.65% or 0.06 points to trade at 3.40 in late trade. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) declined 0.80% or 0.21 points to end at 26.03 and Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) shed 0.76% or 0.03 points to 4.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 67 and 22 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was down 2.91% or 2.15 to $71.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 3.25% or 2.29 to hit $68.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.71% or 72.95 to trade at $2,621.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.60% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.28% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 105.43.
