Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 2.69% or 0.28 points to trade at 10.67 at the close. Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) added 2.40% or 0.10 points to end at 4.35 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was up 1.86% or 0.90 points to 49.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 1.61% or 0.27 points to trade at 16.45 in late trade. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 1.32% or 0.46 points to end at 34.44 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) shed 1.30% or 0.08 points to 6.08.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 77 and 29 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.13% or 0.83 to $72.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.37% or 0.97 to hit $70.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 7.65 to trade at $2,653.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.29% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.55% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 100.52.
