Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V), which rose 2.39% or 1.45 points to trade at 62.00 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 1.27% or 0.39 points to end at 31.19 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.07% or 0.070 points to 6.600 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 1.07% or 0.42 points to trade at 38.74 in late trade. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) declined 1.06% or 0.065 points to end at 6.095 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) shed 0.90% or 0.19 points to 21.01.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 57 and 29 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.07% or 0.61 to $57.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.84% or 0.43 to hit $51.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.47 to trade at $1306.07 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.12% to 1.1808, while EUR/GBP fell 0.11% to 0.8888.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.99.
