Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.58%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.08% or 360.00 points to trade at 12,050.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.66% or 300.00 points to end at 11,560.00 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) was up 1.57% or 8.00 points to 517.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which lost 3.89% or 30.50 points to trade at 754.00 in late trade. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 3.33% or 49.50 points to end at 1,438.50 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) shed 3.04% or 24.50 points to 780.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 67 to 64 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.24% or 0.87 to $70.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.99% or 0.73 to hit $74.14 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.10% or 29.71 to trade at $2,679.69 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 7.11, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 106.69.
