Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.41% or 14.2 points to trade at 603.6 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.00% or 3.0 points to end at 298.9 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 751.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 3.14% or 14.1 points to trade at 434.3 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 2.53% or 10.0 points to end at 385.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 1.85% or 11.8 points to 626.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 26 and 26 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.05% or 0.04 to $74.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.77% or 1.40 to hit $77.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.83% or 10.40 to trade at $1244.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 6.4185, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4514.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 94.78.
