Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which rose 1.56% or 7.10 points to trade at 462.10 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 1.22% or 3.40 points to end at 281.40 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.87% or 1.80 points to 207.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which lost 3.68% or 5.90 points to trade at 153.20 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 2.12% or 19.60 points to end at 904.60 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) shed 1.88% or 190.00 points to 9,930.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 60 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.91% or 0.69 to $74.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.98% or 0.77 to hit $77.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 10.60 to trade at $2,542.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.50% to 6.70, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 100.87.
