Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.18% or 37.50 points to trade at 1,215.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.88% or 14.50 points to end at 785.50 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) was up 1.79% or 13.50 points to 769.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which lost 2.64% or 4.30 points to trade at 158.80 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 2.17% or 19.00 points to end at 857.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) shed 1.08% or 130.00 points to 11,920.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 77 to 51 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.54% or 1.05 to $67.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.33% or 0.96 to hit $71.13 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 14.34 to trade at $2,662.74 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 7.05, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 105.87.
