Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.10% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 1.72% or 15.00 points to trade at 886.50 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.72% or 15.90 points to end at 938.10 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 1.42% or 2.10 points to 150.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which lost 2.70% or 33.50 points to trade at 1,205.00 in late trade. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 1.76% or 11.50 points to end at 642.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) shed 1.51% or 150.00 points to 9,795.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 56 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.63% or 2.00 to $73.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.13% or 1.68 to hit $77.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 23.05 to trade at $2,537.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.75, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 101.57.
