Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.21% or 30.0 points to trade at 2515.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.18% or 110.0 points to end at 9410.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 1.03% or 120.0 points to 11760.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemargos (CN:CCB), which lost 3.04% or 360.0 points to trade at 11500.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 2.58% or 120.0 points to end at 4530.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 2.56% or 400.0 points to 15240.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.60% or 2.02 to $124.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.78% or 15.00 to hit $1916.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.62 to trade at $1244.08 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.87% to 3032.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.43% to 910.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 97.43.
