Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 2.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 2.79% or 8.0 points to trade at 295.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 0.53% or 180.0 points to end at 33900.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.06% or 40.0 points to 64060.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 5.81% or 200.0 points to trade at 3240.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 4.33% or 190.0 points to end at 4200.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) shed 2.55% or 30.0 points to 1145.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 3 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.82% or 0.90 to $109.25 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.81% or 40.00 to hit $2249.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1201.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.80% to 3201.35, while BRL/COP fell 0.14% to 842.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 97.07.
