Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 2.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 0.62% or 80.0 points to trade at 12980.0 at the close. Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) added 0.55% or 10.0 points to end at 1840.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was down 0.34% or 80.0 points to 23500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 6.84% or 390.0 points to trade at 5310.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 5.66% or 3600.0 points to end at 60000.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 4.36% or 900.0 points to 19760.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 3 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.27% or 2.55 to $114.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.07% or 23.00 to hit $2178.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.30 to trade at $1222.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.46% to 3190.20, while BRL/COP rose 0.57% to 849.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.68% at 96.72.
