Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which fell 2.32% or 520.0 points to trade at 21900.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.75% or 70.0 points to end at 9350.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.03% or 20.0 points to 67460.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which lost 3.87% or 1320.0 points to trade at 32760.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 3.90% or 300.0 points to end at 7400.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 3.13% or 11.0 points to 340.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 7 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.13% or 2.28 to $109.08 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.74% or 35.00 to hit $2042.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.00 to trade at $1207.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 3037.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.33% to 787.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 95.31.
