Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which rose 0.65% or 20.0 points to trade at 3115.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 0.52% or 0.1 points to end at 19.4 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 0.21% or 80.0 points to 38100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 3.62% or 500.0 points to trade at 13300.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 3.27% or 840.0 points to end at 24860.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 2.48% or 180.0 points to 7070.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 5 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.27% or 0.38 to $141.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.16% or 61.50 to hit $2782.00 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.68% or 8.20 to trade at $1194.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.70% to 2481.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.29% to 819.52.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 98.14.
