Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO), which rose 2.13% or 580.00 points to trade at 27,820.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 1.62% or 120.00 points to end at 7,530.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) was up 0.99% or 120.00 points to 12,280.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which lost 2.37% or 420.00 points to trade at 17,280.00 in late trade. Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) declined 2.15% or 55.00 points to end at 2,505.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) shed 1.96% or 200.00 points to 10,000.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.08% or 2.90 to $272.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 6.47% or 536.00 to hit $7,745.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 11.70 to trade at $2,656.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 4,193.26, while BRL/COP rose 0.18% to 769.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 100.50.
