Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.89%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which rose 2.22% or 400.00 points to trade at 18,420.00 at the close. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) added 1.76% or 180.00 points to end at 10,380.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) was up 0.85% or 320.00 points to 38,000.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which lost 3.10% or 320.00 points to trade at 10,000.00 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) declined 2.47% or 180.00 points to end at 7,110.00 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG) shed 2.24% or 440.00 points to 19,220.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.11% or 2.80 to $248.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.85% or 211.00 to hit $7,183.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 24.20 to trade at $2,763.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.01% to 4,264.03, while BRL/COP fell 0.37% to 749.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 103.89.
