Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.88%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 4.33% or 13.0 points to trade at 313.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 2.77% or 280.0 points to end at 10380.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 2.05% or 120.0 points to 5980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 4.26% or 12.0 points to trade at 270.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 2.60% or 85.0 points to end at 3190.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) shed 1.79% or 240.0 points to 13180.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 12 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 3.33% or 3.75 to $116.35 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.16% or 3.50 to hit $2196.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.40 to trade at $1224.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.22% to 3175.45, while BRL/COP fell 0.28% to 844.15.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 96.06.
