Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Promigas (CN:PMG), which rose 2.84% or 190.0 points to trade at 6890.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.83% or 580.0 points to end at 32220.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.71% or 540.0 points to 32140.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 4.44% or 16.0 points to trade at 344.0 in late trade. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 3.85% or 600.0 points to end at 15000.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 3.38% or 230.0 points to 6570.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 8 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 3.04% or 2.93 to $99.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.78% or 17.00 to hit $2206.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 3.90 to trade at $1212.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.27% to 3021.80, while BRL/COP rose 1.05% to 742.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.71% at 93.45.
