Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.62% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 5.00% or 18.0 points to trade at 378.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 0.59% or 20.0 points to end at 3410.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.58% or 100.0 points to 17300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 9.08% or 710.0 points to trade at 7110.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 3.58% or 13.0 points to end at 350.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 3.06% or 240.0 points to 7600.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 6 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.29% or 0.30 to $102.50 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.81% or 18.50 to hit $2266.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 2.40 to trade at $1201.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.01% to 3060.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.06% to 753.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 95.34.
