Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.55% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 0.95% or 640.0 points to trade at 67860.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 0.80% or 0.2 points to end at 25.1 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 0.75% or 100.0 points to 13460.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 1.98% or 55.0 points to trade at 2725.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.80% or 9.0 points to end at 491.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 1.77% or 520.0 points to 28920.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 7 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.91% or 2.41 to $123.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.05% or 1.00 to hit $2053.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.91 to trade at $1271.19 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.31% to 3037.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.09% to 916.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 94.81.
