Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 13.39% or 1,050.00 points to trade at 8,890.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 6.45% or 590.00 points to end at 9,740.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG) was up 5.73% or 430.00 points to 7,930.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (BVC:CEL), which lost 3.98% or 145.00 points to trade at 3,500.00 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) declined 3.89% or 1,080.00 points to end at 26,700.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) shed 3.13% or 540.00 points to 16,700.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.48% or 4.50 to $309.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 2.39% or 214.50 to hit $9,186.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 15.99 to trade at $2,658.59 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.42% to 4,403.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.22% to 757.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 106.84.
