Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.52% or 360.0 points to trade at 10600.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 3.49% or 160.0 points to end at 4740.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 1.01% or 40.0 points to 4000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 1.55% or 45.0 points to trade at 2855.0 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) declined 1.42% or 15.0 points to end at 1040.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 0.88% or 300.0 points to 33920.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.86% or 1.95 to $103.00 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 2.64% or 61.00 to hit $2246.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1284.25 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.70% to 3145.99, while BRL/COP fell 0.78% to 825.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 95.972.
